Collaboration with Kaetlyn Able

Recently, I had the tremendous honor of collaborating with one of my very favorite artists.

Kaetlyn Able and I found each other through the artist community on Instagram. I instantly fell in love with her work, and then fell for it even harder when I learned she lives in my hometown of Bozeman, Montana and creates paintings of beautiful old homes in the town. How could I not?

Kaetlyn and I collaborated on two different pieces. I sent her two watercolor and gold paint pen narwhals (!!), and she created this watery world for them to live in out of collaged layers of rice paper:

We also created this firefly piece together. Kaetlyn painted their starry meadow background and I created the fireflies using purple ink, colored pencil, and gold paint pen.

As of right now, the original narwhal piece is still available in my Etsy shop, and there is a limited run of 50 prints of each design in both my shop and Kaetlyn's Etsy shop.

It was such a joy and honor to collaborate with Kaetlyn. Find her on Instagram here!
